Ok guys, I can get a Phazer GT for $5400 w/300 miles on it. Is that a good price?

I have Vector and have been lurking and seeing the usual first year problems come up. Can anybody list them? Are they too numerous to even consider this sled?

I have seen the tunnel icing problem and suppose that is an easy fix.

Are the suspensions really sagging and what is that fix?

Are they darting like the other Yamaha sleds?

Thanks in advance!

shocks revalve aluminum and yes they dart just pin it and the skis are in theair till50 and your good to go

There are dealers selling BRAND NEW 2007 Phazer GT's with a full year of warranty for $5399................... I would go brand new.

Vmax,

If I could find a new one at that I would be there. Best new I can find is an even $6K.

I should send you a copy of a message you sent me last year at this time. You said cost was $6500 for a GT and that I couldn't get one for a leftover for $6K. Just thought it was funny and it is still in my inbox. No I'm not holding it against you.

Now for this tunnel issue. Is it an issue always or only when in powder. Just a though and you all probably thought about it already. Couldn't you add heat exchangers where the Vector has them?

ive done 700 miles on mine and i havent had a huge problem liek some peope make it out to be.even riding in -5 temp. the problem wasnt that bad

keep looking, you will for sure get a better deal than that. I dealer in Illinois had a fx on ebay with a 4200 reserve, 79 miles rode once. I saw it at the dealer and I could have got it for 4600 but I allready have a mtn lite

I also have a Vector, but I am thinking about the Phazer or the Nytro. My son and I put almost 200 miles on a Phazer GT today that my dealer let me take for the weekend. My son currently has a SX600R but after five minutes on the Phazer he said that he wants one. I also think I would like the Phazer. There was nothing about it that I did not like. We ran on some long strait trails and I would be wide open for a long ways on my Vector, but the Phazer was always right behind me. This sled is so fun. The GT just needs better shocks in the rear.
