Did a little unofficial lineup last year on a snow covered lake drag strip against my buddy's SW with a reflash. Was kind of hard to give a result because we were both spinning and neither one of us had our clutching tuned in optimal so I won't brag or make any claims.
I probably have 40+ HP on him, but that's my setup versus his and not all SW and Apex's are the same so that is hard to compare to... But then again it's also hard to beat a boosted Apex when setup right. I love my Apex, reason I still have it...

Well Im not boosted but was on lake doing 170 km/hr on Sunday.
A Sidewinder come up from nowhere and went by me like I was standing still. had to be in the 200's. Not sure if he was flashed or not cause I couldn't chase him down to chat.lol

Stock Winder VS a 10 PSI boosted Apex wouldn't have a chance based on Gravenhurst #'s of 103 mph in 1/4 mile for stock Winder.
My MCX Apex set at 250 hp does that in 660' on SNOW not ice and it ain't much out of the hole.
I know I am comparing apples and oranges HP wise but I hope I gave you got the information you were looking for.

Yes helpful I’m looking at an Fpp 2 stage I trail ride a lot but I know when I put the Yama charger on with just 2lbs boost it pick up some mid and top end but am thinking would be nice to get new again !!! Thanks for the info !!!!Stock Winder VS a 10 PSI boosted Apex wouldn't have a chance based on Gravenhurst #'s of 103 mph in 1/4 mile for stock Winder.

I don't think any SW flashed or not would have a chance against my Mid mount turbo. Maybe out of the hole but once we hit triple digits I bet I would fly by like a missile. My sled is a top speed phenomenon with the 13.5"x 151" wide track it just never stops pulling! It made new 850 doos look like 440s pulling the skis at 95 mph and rocketing to 140. Its insane. I will be attending a event next weekend where I'm sure there will be winders there and I'm racing in the "king of the trail" bracket so I'll find out for sure. If they do beat me I will say they are approaching warp speed!

From vids I've seen, I just don't see how any SW, reflashed or not, that could hang with an APEX with 8-10 lbs of boost. Just don't think it would be close. I could be wrong tho...

I have not been around a sw but a few vipers with boost it turbos. They went good but not apex or RX1 good. Once you get over 17 lbs the 3 sparker does not keep up to the 4

That would be cool to get some apex's there! I'm worried I think its a 500' track and the sled doesn't really hit its prime until over 50mph and absolutely shines in the triple digits. Also unstudded I hope it isn't a plowed ice track. Since this is a 'trail' race I'm hoping its on trail like surfaces With the stutter launch it does leave pretty hard. Be fun to see what the ole girl has left in the tank! I plan to trail ride the days before so barring a crash or breakdown I don't plan to change a thing, it will get run with same shocks, gearing, track that I trail ride with.
Maybe I can find a winder there that would race me out on the sticks to see top speed comparison

If it's a snow track I'd run it with my Apex. Ice ripper xt is not a glare ice track to dangerous been there.
