I'm had a issue with my sled yesterday. Riding hard and fast cross a road and just like that it sounded like it was running on two cylinders no power and if i let off the gas it would die. Had to use the gas to start it. After it would sit for a bit it would fire up fine but after a few minutes it would run like crap. Any help would be great. I had one slightly wet plug but not bad. I put in new plugs and it runs fine now.

Could it just be a bad plug? I've had plugs just crap out.

Ride it.

Did you hit the brakes hard before coming to the road?Maybe belt got sucked down in secondary and when you crossed road it fouled a plug from heavy load on motor created when belt was sucked into secondary?

No I had costed Up to it.
I had this same thing happen to my 05' vector. One other person on here is also having that problem. Hope someone can figure this out. It doesn't happen all the time. Just when your riding at around 8,000 rpm for awhile. Its not the carbs on mine either, they have been gone through twice by two different mechanics. I cleaned my coils and re-taped them with electrical tape. I will see if that helps. Going to the U.P. this weekend.
Well, after cleaning the coils as I stated, nothing changed, same thing happened. Can't ride at 75 to 85 mph for any length of time or it will act up. After thinking about on the trail all weekend, I came to the conclusion that there is a good chance it is the fuel pump. This would make alot of sense. My sled used to start strong, but over time it got to be a sluggish starter. I figure as I am going down the trail at that speed, the pump isn't keeping up and therefore I get the sluggish effect and loss of power. Mine is carbed and yours EFI, so this would make alot of sense. It is fuel related, and that would be the only thing I could think of that it could be.

Have u check your T.O.R.S. I replace it and that was the end of it.
When this happened did you get a code? I did not get the tors code. Did you replace the tors or bypass it. Mine is already bypassed.
