we were out to the grove tonight, special thanks to dave, mike, dan, and mike. conditions were fair, not alot of traction, dialed up the power on the race sled and ran a 8.39, i still have more hp, but not ready to lay it all down yet, now we have to work on the susp, 60 ft times are horrible due to the sled roasting the track, now theres some suspension work that needs to be done, but it should be a 7 second sled when its done. we are going back to the track on fri nite for anyone who wants to watch. jeff

Jeff, that is ROCKING!!! I want to see some video of these rolling down the track. I hope to see you at ESTA in July. With these numbers you can only be out done by your twin. The best run last year was on a T-cat with NOS it was 8.56 @ 163.03 he took the win for the weekend. If you are coming to ESTA then I know you will some video after that weekend. Keep up the good work. Doug

So nobody's ever busted into the 7's on a sled, what's the fastest anybody's ever run?
What did Mike Knapp's Vmax-4 used to run?

I think Knapp on the VMax4 was in the 8.6s. At about 145 MPH...BBY
