Single Keel Skis for Snowtrackers....05-14 yamaha single keel ski retrofit

You guys shouldn't be shimming the Trackers. When you shim them you take away the reason that they work. The corrector needs to touch the trail up front to provide easy steering and prevent darting.

I tried them shimmed once and it was awful on hardpack. Hard steering and twitchy. Took out the shims and all was well.

Also know that you don't want worn out correctors.

How thick was the shim you added?
I used Bergstrom shims, I believe they were his 1/8inch.
Never wore out his shims in 8k.
Used the stock Yamaha rubbers. Modified them to fit the curve saddle and screwed them to the bottom of the rubbers.
Also added different washers on either side of the spindle bushing to create a tighter tolerance ( side to side).
Maybe Travis from BOB can chime in because he bought my sled and saw my setup first hand.

Travis, how much is a Snowtrackers set up for a 18 Sidewinder LT-X?

Was hoping the offset bushings would get the ski bolt high enough in saddle, but not quite. I have to mill a little material off the pocket of the skis. No big deal.

Basically you just need to trim the stock ribs off the stock ski rubbers and then these skis with my mods will be a direct fit.

I will charge $150 for a good used set of skis. They will be milled down and offset bushings pre installed so that they are ready to bolt right onto a Viper or Sidewinder.

I have Blue, Red, Black loops available.

Snow trackers work excellent on these skis, and I can install them too if someone wants them. $215 for Aggressive and $200 for semi.
