Has anyone ran the single runner with snowtrackers on their sidewinder ? I am debating on getting skis, I have read all the threads on the curve , pilots etc.. Just noticed a few guys running the old cat style ski with the snowtrackers and thought maybe it would be a better cheaper option, then wasting money on the tuner carbides only to hate them. I dont really want to get into a big skis purchase this year either .

The Cat skis work perfect, not as confidence inspiring as the Curves but a better cost alternative compared to the others. Plus I beilieve they use a longer host bar with 4- mounting bolts that increases durability.

14 skis with trackers are my second choice after curves.

Does anyone know if the loops are interchangeable on the tuners with the 14 cat ski ?

Tuner 3 loops fit cat ski nicely. All you have to do is grind the width down on the rear attachment point of tunner loop. Will see if i can find my pictures.

After comparing some pictures I can see how that could work. I thought the loops mounted different at the front then they actually do.

I’m gonna run them with 6” Slim Jim’s this year. Worked excellent on my Viper, expecting similar results here.
same here......

Ok thanks for the feed back guys I might try that instead of setting up the tuners with carbides. Crappy thing is I had a set and now I cant seem to
find them since i moved !! Are they that much better than tuners say with snowtrackers ?

Imo yes much better than tuners on this chassis. Plus they just fit so much better with minor aggravation. Heck they came on the 14's and should bolt right up with 14 rubbers. My bud runs them and loves them in all conditions. Like Dranttel said "second to the Curves"

I run that set up on my viper and love it. Very very happy with the snowtrackers on the cat skis.
I know it is not a sidewinder, but it is close. Lol

I am running the skis off my '11 Apex with Semi Aggressive Snotrackers . Had to machine pocket deeper to fit spindle so the holes would line up. They work really well.
