Ski alignment check yesterday:

1 ski towed out 1/2 inch
other ski towed in 1/4 inch

Set both ski's now to towed out 1/8 inch

What do you guys think?

Bring on the snow!

I imagine your sled was a bit of a handful last year?

I also ran into some odd steering at times on mine last year. Sometimes it would track true and have minimal darting but other times it would be all over the place :o|

Long story short, I had bent right side a-arms and the geometry would change on me as I was riding!

I cursed my ski's, my sled, my mechanical abilities etc but it wasn't until I decided to install some new Oilites that I discovered the issue.

I am like you, can't wait to try it again this year as everthing is now straight and properly set up, finally ;)!

so it sounds like it was toed out 1/4" now out 1/8" I dont see it making any difference at all.

My previous set up was:

1 ski towed out 1/2 inch
other ski towed in 1/4 inch

now both set equal to 1/8th now

Tbanzer, Wouldn't they be constantly fighting each other straight and turning?
like constant turn to left?
???????
Thanks

Toe is measured relative to each other. So in other words if you made one ski paralell with the track the other would have been 1/4" towed out before you made any adjustments, and now its 1/8" out.

Tbanzer, I hear ya, so tow wasn't the issue but alignment was jacked?
