ski alignment

Hi guys. I got a question for u all.I know from what i have heard and read that single kiel skis should have a toe out of around 1/16 to 1/8 to keep from darting and handeling eratic but what about skis with runners side by side like the pilot ski and other aftermarket brands. These skis have runners around 3 to 4 inches apart and i would think that the ski should run straight or parallel to each other; what say you all.

I've always had the best results when toe out was 1/4 to 1/2.
