hey guys

over the weekend i was installing a set of skis and aligning the skis with the proper toe out

i set the skis to 0 toe to start off, straight with the track, track is perfect inline between the rails all the way front to back

i noticed that the measurement between the ski and the track are not the same on both sides

example... I'll get 115/8'' from track to left ski (front/rear carbide nut) which would be of course 0 toe, now the right side I'll get 12''

shouldn't the skis be the same on both sides, everything is fine, nothing bent, suspension a arms and everything else is tight

is this normal, i can't remember if my other sleds had this or not

any help would be great

Thanks

Are you positive nothing's bent?

Hey Grimm,

i know it sounds crazy,

i had the sled since new and I'm 100% positive nothing is bent or worn,

this coming weekend I'll post the actual measurements,

i had a viper prior to the apex and i think it was off too...

Fabio, have you measured how the track sits in relation to the tunnel?

Also if the track is symmetrical, regarding width from clips/nobs and out?

You're measuring between something that is flexible (track) and something that is flexible (ski). You are NEVER going to get a perfect measurement. Your difference is only 3/8" -- WELL within any sane margin of error for what you are measuring.

Thanks guys for the response,
Malmlof I'll check that to see if the track is off or not from side to side,

Thanks again
