Hey welcome to summer, I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if ski doo idler wheels fit on an 06 apex. It seems that I had read something about that some time ago. I just ordered the pioneer rail saver kit, so the wheels will have to be stock size. They don't have to be ski doo, I was just trying to find the best quality ones for the cheapest price as I need most of the small ones replaced. Also they must have replaceable bearings. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, D

I have ski-doo wheels on my 06 Apex, but they are taller than stock (135mm vs 130mm) and the bearing is wider. I had to have my wheel mounts machined. I've had zero issues with the wheels other than repacking and sometimes replacing bearings.

We used to use Doo wheels but since then, Excell wheels do the same thing (135mm vs. 130mm) and no machining or different mounts required. If you are talking about the modified mounts that move the stock wheels down, then a nice stock size wheel is the late model Apex spoked wheel with replaceable bearings.

Yeah they have to be stock size since I have the pioneer rail saver coming. Out of all the stock size wheels out there, are the apex spoked ones the best value?

I think so. No cheap Kimpex junk and about the same price. Cheaper than the original with non-replaceable bearings and nicer.
