Just picked up a 2018 Winder LTX that has the stock tuners on it. I am upgrading from a 14 Viper that had the cat skis with snowtrackers. The snowtrackers worked great and had no complaints. I am hoping to have a similar experience and have not heard great things about the tuner skis. Here are my thoughts and curious about others that have done similar
Purchase old Vector / Apex style and put snowtrackers on them?
Purchase cat skis and put snowtrackers on them?
Purchase Stryke skis and put snowtrackers on them?
Appreciate any insight, or should I just run the tuner skis and see how it is?

The tuners have a lot of bad reviews on the procross chassis. After riding a SW with them - I feel they are a terrible choice.
C&A's work pretty good with either Slim Jims or Triple point carbides. But they are pretty expensive for what they are- especially up here in Canada.
Friend just purchased Stryke ski from Yamaha and looks like a good trail ski - especially for the cost. He has them kitted up with Triple points - will have to see how they work this season

Doo single keel Race skis and Aggressive SnowTrackers would be my choice and what I run.
I never liked the SnowTrackers on the Cat skis as I felt they were just too unstable. I always had a death grip on the bars with them on the Cat skis. Others like them fine, (I don't get why I found them so unstable but they were) on the Cat skis but no way would I run them on a cat ski myself. I believe they sit to far forward on the Cat ski making them unstable, at least thats my thoughts on them. I tried them on my 1100 Procross turbo and took them off after one weekend. Also had a customer come for a tune install with a brand new set on his 2017 RR on his cat and felt the exact same instability on the test ride and having to have a death grip on the bars. He ended up taking them off after a few hundred miles and went to the Doo skis and put SnowTrackers on them and loved it with this Doo ski and tracker setup installed. He always had trackers on his Doos like I did also.

Tuners are fine ONLY IF you use snowtrackers. If not, they are junk skis. The Command skis are a good upgrade with a nice keel similar to the stryke or cat ski.

Get a set of Cat skis and put a set of Snow Studs Double Down carbides on them. They work great (once your ski pressure is setup properly) and those carbides wear forever.

i had a 16 viper with the tuner 3's out of the box it was god awful, put woody's 6 inch shaper bars on the inside and the stock 4 inch on the outside and it worked really well, bought a 2020 winder this fall, it had 4 inch inside and outside and it pushed bad, picked up another set of woodys 6 inch shaper bars and did the same thing on the winder and i feel like it handles pretty good, minimal push if any, i would like to go with a single keel c&a eventually but no complaints currently with the tuners and the shaper bars.
