YEEEHAW!!!! got it, and it is KILLER!!!!

Stiffens up the tunnel, will definitely add strength!!!

Kit comes with the bumper (which includes the powdercoated black pieces you see), tunnel cap piece (which allows the extension of the tunnel), and the brackets which attach the boards to the tunnel...they come in natural but can be powdercoated if you want (just a little extra)

Here is the project...

And here it is installed...hard to see the top piece on the top of tunnel, but will allow you to lengthen the tunnel by about 6" (will MORE than fit the 162 extension, dont knwo about 174")

have sent an email to Jeff to get the pic taken that you requested though...

update on the bumper

Finally had some time to do the install...looks a LOT different when all the powdercoating is together etc.

Pardon the garage...(Motopsycho excluded, as he is a brother from another mother...:) )

Since the kit was the first one, there has been some changes, and incorporated some thoughts of people on here...

Look forward to thoughts...

I see you have your shin bruisers removed! Are they needed for strength or is it fine without them?

I think he is referring to the foot stirrups / pegs. I took mine off too for access when I installed the Better Boards.

ahhhh, yeah, got my foot caught in my Rev ones and was rag dolled down a hill, so I gave up ever having those on my sleds!!! plus shaved a little weight...and added NO value for me...if I need my feet to hold on, I am in REAL trouble anyways :)
