Has anybody got or used the skinz tail bag for the Vector LTX or the Attak/Apex LTX? I really want some storage for longer runs. I have a set of the Yamaha saddle bags ordered and I figure with these two items I could pack alot of stuff for an overnighter.

i have the tail bag and it works good. i am not totally happy with the way it attaches (velcro), although i have not had it come off. i leave it on all the time for a little extra storage even for day rides.
you can still see tail light & it does not affect the exhaust.
does not seem to collect to much snow, get wet or smell like exhaust.

Thanks for the info. I have another question, has it scuffed the tunnel where it is mounted, does it have a soft underside or did you put something down to help protect the bare aluminum. I have mine polished and would hate to mark it up with the bag.

from what i have seen it does not mark the tunnel, however the velcro that holds it on, sticks on the tunnel. with this said you would not be happy sticking 4 velcro patches on there.
i saw a post for a smalll rack made by powderlite, i'm thinkin of putting the rack on then make something to fasten this bag to the rack.
i'm sure you could come up with some ideas on how to mount bag a better way.

I'm still waiting for mine. I'm not going to use the velcro. I added two "U" bolts to each side of the extension. With those I"ll use a bungie cord along with the 'bag suppiled' bumper strap.
I have a rear heat exchanger so the sticky underside of the velcro may not do so well with the extreme heat from the exchanger.
