I know there are other threads but I'm running out of time, should i just get the yamaha mountain ski's? I have them on my big 1050cc venture and they have been great but I have nothing to compare them to, any advice would be appreciated! Ski skin's work?

Assuming these are for the multi purpose or venture lite, I found that the 7 in ski with a snow tracker or cobra head runners installed work really well for all conditions. ski skins work well but in crusty or hard pack conditions become very darty due to the carbide being exposed for the entire length. If you go too wide, the sled becomes unbalanced in deep snow causing the sled to trench! You could go aftermarket, but dollar for dollar the original multi purpose ski (7in) work the best! cheers!
