Sled just started to rough idle, almost like a skip. I tried jacking up the idle but it is still rough and all over the place. From 900 to 1400 RPM. Have 266 miles on it, 100 put on today. Towards the end of the trip when I let off the throttle entering a curve or slowing up it would start to break up, almost like a bog and then come right back to life with a little throttle. Steady throttle or steady going it seems OK with plenty of pick-up when you give it the gas. Too late and cold to check the plugs tonight. Put fresh gas in today + dry gas. Anything else I should look for tomorrow while I'm at it? Thanks.

I would say that it is one of carbs or spark plugs.

Make sure airbox is sealed up tight, and carbs are seated correctly

Sounds like what mine does when the carbs are iceing up. Turn up the carb heat a bit and see if that fixes things up.

Turn up the carb heat??
Interesting concept. How's that work? Blow torch?

I'll pull them tomorrow afternoon [Too damn cold in the morning, and it takes forever to heat the garage]. Just happened the last 5 or 6 miles of the trip. I think I heard something about the plug boots or something allowing the spark to arc to the engine and causing the plug to not give proper spark? Oh well, will get on it tomorrow. Thanks for the idea's Guys!

You might also check to make sure the little spring on the throttle linkage by the throttle cable isn't missing. It basically connects the two sets of carbs together. If missing, creates rough idle because all four carbs are not being pulled together. I've had mine damaged and it made the sled run rough up to 15-1800 rpm.
