Coming back home from Quebec across the highway seen a guy running in a field away from his sled which was on fire,

Take a guess on what colour it was........ U got it yellow... I guess he didn't make it to the dealer for the doo recall... :yam:

I would of stopped but it was on the other side of the highway,

Same thing happened to a friend of mine. In his case the brake caliper stuck, overheated and then the plastic resevoir melted and the fluid caught fire. He got the fire out but it was too late- written off.

I seen a yellow one burning this weekend also

If it burnt to the ground I guess its a better excuse to buy another new sled other then the fact the blow up all the time lol

Pat the rat you couldn't of said it better...

Few weeks ago I stop for gas and seen a guy looking under his yellow sled, antifreeze was pouring out of the front rad, he had no studs on his machine, looked like the rad just wore out at the corner,

He also said this year has been full of problem with his sled,

I guess a lighter sled is a way better sled than our heavy pigs,

I told him I had close to 11000 miles on sled with no major issues, he didn't even look to see what I was riding but I guess he new by my suit,

Guess what... He got on the phone and called a local doo dealer to see if they had any sleds for sale,

They just don't get it...

My buddy is the same way, has a 800 e tec. He knows its a ticking time bomb but its light so it has to be better right? :jump:

Our last trip his check engine light came on and it had a split second bog/burble or something. OMG he was whinning the rest of he day and we couldnt take any twisty trails because he couldnt throttle jockey and keep up with me. I took a picture of him on the side of the trail with his panels open and on the cell phone ;)! Classic! Oh and the dealer said dont worry about it those sleds are pretty fail safe and WONT self destruct. Okkkkkkkk

pic of my buddies doo with the panels open, on the cell phone with the dealer

Yep, some people just don't learn. My buddy fried his engine in his polaris 750 turbo (2800 miles). Now he's trash talking 4 stroke and wants to go back to a 2 stroke polaris. I told him before he bought it that the 750 turbo's had some issues in the past, but he wouldn't listed and bought it any way. I told him it isn't a "4stroke" issue it's a "it's not a yamaha 4 stroke" issue :o| . Thats ok I told him, I always carry a tow strap ;)!

It's not misfortune... it's more like stupidity. I just hope they're smart enough to have insurance on these burn down specials...

Why do we feel it is okay to be gleeful at someone else's misfortune.

x2 - I dont look at these pics and think whadda bunch of idiots. I look at these pix and feel horrible for the owner. No one likes to break down and/or start on fire!

First time I think 'Poor guy', second time I think 'Poor idiot'.
