sled solutions apex seat cover re-tro fit 03 rx1

Anybody checked out the sled solutins seat cover for the apex, I ordered one today. Same fit as stock. I know about the trimming of the gas tank cover from other threads i have read on here. will the stock seat frame fit the apex seat cover with new foam shaped to match??

I just did mine on Sunday. I don't think the Apex foam and cover will work on the stock platform. The tank cut is easy and looks cool. I used masking tape and started even at the 90 deg point where body work meets seat an came up at an angle to 2" where the body runs parrallel with the seat and tunnel. I cut it with yellow straight tin snips. I then used old windshield edging along the cut to finish it off. I have the bars & riser off an o6 Apex along with the seat and it feels real good.

I still don't feel as naked and out in the wind as I did on my Apex. I think it is going to be a great improvement - halfway between the RX-1 sit down and Apex rider forward.
