You should be able to see the scratchers installed on my skis in the attached picture. They are silver in the picture, and near the middle of the ski on the inside edges. The metal flang kicks snow back into the track. My dealer installed them for free when he installed the Simmons skis, but I cannot imagine they cost very much. They are not worn at all.
