Do you guys notice a big diference with the Yamaha hyfaxes vs. other brands. What about going to Fleet Farm and their slides? Is there a big difference? Thanks 03 RX1

In my experience, they all seem to wear the same. I believe that there are only 2 or 3 companies (Garland, Soucy) that manufacture them for the OEMs and the aftermarket.
There are special ones like Hyperfax and the new Yammy slides with Dupont inserts which claim longer slide durability.

The biggest difference is the fit. Every aftermarket slide I ever used was a major pain to get on and off. They are way too tight on the rail. Yamaha oem slides go on and off very easily. I will never use any aftermarket slides again.
