slop in drive line on RX1 ER

As i was studding the 05 RX1 ER i noticed that when i moved the track back and forth the gears would clunk is this normal for a reverse sled I have never owned one just want to feel at easy with this thing.

Sounds like your chain is loose. Tighten it up and check the slop again.

I had same thing, hand tightened chain, still loose, called dealer & yes this is normal & with reverse it is worse, he said nothing to worry about

Thanks guys I did tighten the chain with no change in slop!

this makes me feel better to hear that the dearler told you it was normal as i have no exp with reverse

Totally normal, and for years. If the sled is got miles, I'd just do the finger tight, then out half turn chain adjustment, and run it.
