Well, we have actually have good snow and it's only 6 days into December. I have an 06 Attak that is completely stock with no studs and I put on some Slydog Powderhounds this year. The few miles I have on them I would say they are a big improvement over the stock skis with the Woody's Doolies I had before but I would like to eliminate the darting. I've heard of a few things on TY but want to know what my options are and who has had the best luck. I don't want to give up anything as far as cornering and I certainly don't want it to push in the corners (I hate that). Thanks in advance for your input.

Align the skis to be neutral or 1/8" toed in (measured at the front and rear carbide bolts). Then add Bergstrom Ski Savers and lastly if need shim the front of the ski slightly down.

I just took my brand new RTX out yesterday with my new slydogs and they push through the corners pretty good. I think I'm going to tighten the limiter straps a hole or two.

I have Slydog Trails on my 06 Attak.
I adjusted my ski alignment to neutral or slightly toed-in, then played with the front shocks (shimming was not required because the Slydog rubber bumpers alone raised the leading edge of the runners 1/8" or so above the back) It still darted.
The only thing that really helped was to finally go with Bergstrom triple points with his ski-savers.

Srxspec hit it right on the head. Follow those dorections and they will work. You will more than likely have to shim the bumper in the front. Unless they changed them, they raise the front of the ski too high. I have a 3/8 shim under the front on my Powderhounds on my Attak. Also have Bergstrom Triples in 8" and 3/8 skisaver. No adjustment from stock on the limiter strap. Steers fairly light but rails in the corners. FAmilyman and Maxdlx can attest to that LOL!

What do you use for a shim? I assume the shim goes under the rubber?
