Slydog skis - trail or race model

Yamaha Man, a few things you could probably do:

Firstly, adjust your tie rods so that your skis are toed IN 1/4 inch.

Increase the pressure on your front ski shocks, maybe 10 lbs.

Shim the skis so the runners are sitting level with the ground.

Reduce center shock pressure in the rear suspension.

Increase weight transfer.

I found that these skis respond more aggressively when pushed, so come in to the corners faster, slow down quickly and LEAN into those turns.

I have the two big nuts up all the way on my CK-Suspension. What exactly does that have to do with it? I thought it was just for a stiffer more aggresive ride. As my suspension like a lot of us who own an RTX...bottom out a lot.

My bars are 6" Shaper Bars...I probably should be 7.5"...but would that really make everything better??

I dont think I need to shim...carbide seems to sit well on the ground. Have not set the skis for toe in. I bought these right after I bought my sled. So I figured that it would be fine from dealer.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP : )

Grimm,

Thank you for the help too!

I will have to try to toe them in. And see how that works.

I also have the front shock on my rear suspension tightened way up, because I ride real rough and want the shock to not bottom out.
