I saved over 4lbs off of the most critical area on the RX1, the front end. Simmons skis were 8.18 lbs, Slydogs are 6.06 with bolts, skags and saddles. (PP's are 7.8lbs)
These skis handle great as well. They have a ski coming out next year that is one inch wider but I dont think you need it, these have more floatation than simmons and a little less than the powder pros.
Also I really dig the looks of them!
Just thought it was a sweet find so I thought I would post it.

Are those Wildchild's A-arms? If so how are they working out?
I thought you were going to get light weight bolts as well, those look like stockers.

The Slydogs are 6 inches wide and 42 inches long. Straight lines are 6 inches wide. Simmons are 5 3/4 - 7/8" wide. Powder pros are 7 1/4 wide and 39 inches long. Floatation is more than most and just a little less than pp's. They have a ski coming out for next year one inch wider. But like Slymax says they dont touch the snow much.
Yes those are wildchilds A arms. They work great as does his sterring column. I had him build me a steering column that is 1 1/8 tubing at the top. Then I ran a Fly riser for the fat bars but I ran it upside down so the connection at the column would be stronger.
As for the bolts I have the lw bushing kit from MPI and have not yet installed it. Having too much fun riding and its about a 2 hour job.
