Having some issues installing snotrackers on Curve Skis. Cant get front of the flat part to lay flat. Instructions say to drill front hole 4 1/2 inches from front hole on ski but I cant get it to lay flat. Will it draw up when I tighten everything up or did I screw this up? Instructions are very vague.

Do instructions say to drill the hole at 90 degrees to the ski ? Or angle the drill back towards the rear of the ski ?

When you insert the snow trackers in the hole you drilled what’s not laying flat ?

The flat part of the 2 sided runner. Maybe I need to drill more angle.

Yes give the whole a bit more of an angle, and also tilt the drill just a bit from side to side while drilling.
The tracker doesn’t have to be 100% against ski bottom, once you tighten up the carbide it should press it up against the ski.

No problem..
Make sure you tighten up the front rear spring some.
Unlock the spring lock nut and slowly tighten the spring as you ride till you find that sweet spot, you shouldn’t have any trail feedback through the bars, if you feel anything at all through the bars there’s to much ski pressure so keep tightening the spring.. once you are happy with your sled lock down the spring nut and enjoy..

I just put the cat/viper skis with snow trackers on the other day, they’ve wider than the stock ski, price fairly cheap and sled handles awesome.

I’ve risen Yamamarc’s viper with cat skis and trackers and it felt light in the steering compared to my curves but haven’t heard much on the curves with them.I just put the cat/viper skis with snow trackers on the other day, they’ve wider than the stock ski, price fairly cheap and sled handles awesome.

That being said, has anyone out there tried Snotrackers/Curve Ski package?
