Thinking of putting some SnowTrackers on my LTX DX 137". Hoping I can get some feedback from someone using them on their Viper. I'm on the fence as whether to use Agressives or Semi-Agressives. I mostly ride groomed trails. Thanks in advance!!

I don't know what year your LTX is, or what kind of skis you have on it? I have a 2015, but I bought the original Arctic Cat skis that came on the 2014's, and are still used on the Cats. I have the semi-aggressive Snow Trackers on the Arctic Cat skis and it is a great combination. There is virtually no darting with Snow Trackers; there is hardly any steering effort; and they hold the trail in all conditions. The semi-aggressive are perfect, unless you really are an "aggressive" rider. My best friend has a 2016 LTX, and after riding my sled one time, he bought the Cat skis and the Snow Trackers.

If you have the Tuner skis, Snow Tracker does make a dual carbide for them, but I have no experience with them. The first thing I have done with my three Vipers is to get rid of the Tuners. The Cat skis are pretty cheap; you can buy them on line from any of the various "parts" stores for Cat and Yamaha. If it is a Yamaha dealer, use the part numbers for the 2014 models.

That's what I did after one season on those horrible tuners.i bought a set of low mileage cat skis and put dual 6 inch carbides.sold the tuners for next to nothing .

14 rtx with cat skis.
I run the agressive and love them

I run the aggressives on my 14. Made my sled handle like a dream.

14 ski’s with semi’s here

14 with semis trying aggressive this year i found semis had a little push in corners but 0 darting and very light steering great carbides I think the aggressive might be even better .

Running semi aggressive snow trackers on my 2 Vipers with tuners skis last year and the wife loves them, backing up can be a challenge sometimes and the harder the trail the better they work. Put 7000 km on my set so far and no wear to show for at all up here in Quebec.

on my second set of semis...love them..no dart easy to steer

How long do these normally last (when someone avoids low snow conditions and cement)?

I have heard of a few people claiming these made them roll there sled etc... But, I am very tempted to try them......

Snow Trackers last forever, or so it seems. I trade my sleds too often to find out how long they will actually last, but my friend has over 8,000 on a set, and you would never know it by looking at them.

I have heard stories about the aggressive Trackers really digging in when someone came hard into a corner, and causing a sled to roll, but I have never seen it happen. I have always used the semi-aggressive, and I have never had a problem.

I have tested kimpex rush skis with trackers and they are a reasonably priced solution. I am actually selling the demo set if anyone is interested. All black with semi trackers
