2015 Yamaha Viper Ltx Dx and wife's 2014 Vector 136"
My wife and I have 2015 Viper LtX DX and 2014 Vector both with 137". We ride trails and aren't real aggressive. I have done a lot of research just still have some questions. Just want to stud for safety in corners, etc. I am pretty much planning on Fast Trac Top Gun studs and their round XL plastic backers, probably all singles in V pattern. Putting 108 in wife's Vector. For my Viper just wondering if 96 would be sufficient. I don't like pushing in corners, finally got Viper suspension set up good and have Snow tracker carbide and ride perfect right now. My sports mechanic would install and says he likes V pattern. Looks like other option would be 144 or 120 studs by doing like a 3-2-3-2 pattern but I can't find template for 137". Woodys and studboy said they don't have any. From what I have read that for our riding that 96 studs might be ok. Thoughts? If I went with 96 I can just hear my wife bragging I have more studs than you do. Ha Ha Thanks

2 per block and FastTrac studs on my last 2 137's is all you need. With 6" carbides on C&A Razors. Does not push and handles very nice.

Just a side note for you, the lower the stud count the more pressure is put on each stud.Make sure you dont spin the track on blacktop or concrete very often when gassing up or leaving the hotel parking lot or you could have some bent studs or A tear out.

Agreed you should always be careful accelerating on concrete and asphalt. With 2 studs per block in a V pattern in the center of the track have not been an issue for my last 3 sleds. Current machine with 7800 miles no issues. Adding studs to the outside edges of the track is where you begin to have issues. If you do add studs outside of the skid you need to have studs in the center also as this will help prevent any issues and any uneven pressure issues. But you never can tell what is under the snow out there!!

Stud down the middle. I ran 2 per row on my Attak for 4 years and our Vector LTX's for 6 years and have yet to lose one stud and we run them hard. You will be ok.

I run 2 per bar Woodys gold diggers in a V pattern with round backers on my RTX no pull throughs or bent studs in the last 4 years. It’s no race set up but plenty for trail riding.
