Hello all,
New to the forum but have been a long time reader and I finally have something worth asking. I am looking for a Colorado Yamaha dealer that knows snowmobiles and can give you a straight answer when it comes to service. I own a 2006 Apex MTN and need some work done. I have been to a few places and they look at me like - What's a snowmobile???
I live in the mountains but would be willing to drive for decent service. Any suggestions....

I used to work for Yamaha and probably could answer some questions you might have. I ride a 2006 Apex SC.
If you want a good dealer, go down and see Bill @ Vickery Motorsports in Denver. 303-755-4387.
They know sleds and will treat you great! Plus, they are in unincorporated Denver Co. so the tax rate is a lot less.

Sun Sports in Gunnison and Mountain Tech in Buena Vista are both good dealers. They may be too far from you though.
Or as pro116 said, someone on the forum would probably be able to help.

Thanks for the info. As for service needs, on my last ride last spring I got to experience that horrible feeling of being bucked off your sled near the top and then getting to watch it as gravity goes for ride. Gravity sure does like trees. Luckily, it appeared to be mostly front end cosmetic stuff. It is amazing the kind of impact that the front bumper took. So while that is getting fixed I thought about upgrading the front suspension and maybe a couple other mods in the 2K range. Thoughts?
