2014 viper xtx
My wife is a vet and I want to give her a patriotic wrap for her viper. Just curious if anyone has any long term success or failure with adhesion of the wraps. I know surface prep is the biggest key to success. Without going out to the garage, I was thinking that the side panel has a "pebble" surface to it. Does that create adhesion problems? I know the factory decals are starting to peel on my 2014.

I recommend Deviant Ink, I've used them twice now. Clean everything with rubbing alcohol, it dries very fast, and removes residue really well. Just use a heat gun to heat up those "pebbled" surfaces and the stuff sticks really well.

The decals are top notch, original is just wet paper compared to it. I didn't find any noticable damage on mine after some abuse, none of the decals fell off. Could barely notice scratches after lots of bush riding. Just make sure to apply pressure everywhere. I used a folded up microfiber cloth for that.
