SnowTrax Full Review of The 2020 Yamaha Sidewinder SRX

I have a 76 340 in pretty good shape. Might be a nice pair!
Ya i used to Oval race in jackman maine back in the day,and yammi had the 340cc srx and them pesky merc 250 and 340 snowtwisters, man them things were made for the race track, and so were the srx,s nice looking sled bro. Its funny they now seem so small, but in the day they were very light and quick, considering the 340 txl poo was only 56hp not sure what either yammi or merc were for hp on there 250 or 340,i think the yammi 440 in 76-77 was around 80hp if i remember correctly. But fast for a sled that the ski,s barley touched the ground under full throttle.

It's a 15 wide.
Ok thanks for that info,i thought I heard one of the mags saying it had 14" at any rate just 1" compared to 1.25 makes a lot more speed in some conditions.

mrsled has a 2020 srx and it looks good in black. always liked the all black sleds.

The srx article was a pleasant surprise from the boys at skidootrax. They usually display an uncanny skill to subtly spin every article to favour skidoo products. These are the same guys that said because the 17 new model shootout was held at a high altitude the new 850 doo is the hyper sled to have?? Provided me a couple seasons of fun while my buddies slowly figured out how well a dialled in winder LE really does work. This season they said our procross is really showing its age and needs an update. Just home from extensive test rides on their favourite skidoo sleds. I honestly dont know what dictates what they say? Ad dollars? I hope to hell we dont get a new chassis with tons of bumpsteer and a wicked propensity to high side in the middle of a 70 mph turn. Reminded me of playing with nytro for years until i got handling figured out.
This srx review was 4 years over due. I guess better late than never
