It bounces all over the place when I start the sled and then finally ends up at - - - across the gauge. It shows some codes when you first turn the key on and then stays at like 14.8 until you crank it then it reads all over the scale for about 5 seconds then just goes to - - -. Here's a video clip of what it does when I just turn the key on so maybe someone can tell me if the codes mean anything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UfqYNgwdvs The sled runs fine but I want to make sure I'm not missing something before I go riding this weekend and hurt the motor. Thanks for any help.

mine does the same if i let it sit powered up itll warm upand go to extream lean start the eng itll go to 14.8 then come downto 12.0 idling and respond to throttle changes quickly if yours dosent read at idle youre eng could be running richer or leaner than the guage can read if in doubt do the brake kleen test

I talked with Allen at Ulmer and he said try sticking a rag in the exhaust and see if that fixes the gauge. He said the sled wouldn't even run if the gauge was correct so it should be OK but I'll do the rag before I load it today. I just had the O2 out when I replaced the exhaust but if I have to I'll pull it again and clean it with some brake clean. Thanks.

I wouldnt clean it with any solvents, just blow it off gently, i would guess maybe your wideband needs to be recalibrated, i would try that first what brand is it?
