Sobfrogg's 03 RX1 Project NEW WORK 12-05-10 page 5

OK, but I PROMISE.... it isn't gonna be SHINY when I am done with it ;):D

HEY DAVE,

Since ya got time on your hands I still have some polish for ya :)

What to do with the ton this summer????????

Rear skid???

BOOOOOST???

Ya, that's what you need, more POWER!!!!! I have little time on my hands. Gutting my upstairs, bathroom, and building a garage fill my days LOL. And, I AIN'T polishing your riser. You'll need to do that yourself LOL!

I will put together a build list of part#'s and where things came from.

That is one sweet looking sled!!!!

Although I worry about Viper Dave and you "polishing" each other's sleds/parts...... (j/k!)

Is this in the Sled TV segment???? How long is that track? 151?

Mike

Hey Mike,

Thanks,

As for Dave and I doing any polishing well he seems to be busy all the time. I am running out of things to put a shine to.

Yes, the sled is shown in the snowtrails T.V. clip.

The track is a 144" 2" Camoplast Challenger track.

Keep watching for the rear skid update. I am waiting for my UPS driver to bring my Mountain Tamer. MMMMMMMM more Floats.

I have some new decals to add to her.

So, did you ever get the new rear skid? We need to see more!!!! I can't wait to see how that thing is on the tight trails in Price county!

Still waiting for the skid. When I ordered it they were not even done building the new skids. Should be here in a week or two I hope.

HMMMM Tight trails huh, I might just stay in the corn fields acrosss the street. If there is enough snow :) Still have the Attak for the Wi trips. Till it gets streched :)

I may have found another boondockin partner. We will see how that goes :) :)

Hey Sleddhead mabey we will even get you out in the woods :)

Hi Sobfrogg....very nice job...question for yaa....I basically copied your build (still tweeking clutchs and throttle) I also went with MPI's transfer kit (straps)...I have tried full loose on them....wheelie like a mad man, but next to no steering on the trail or lake....so, I went what I thought was overboard and tightened up 1 hole on bottom and 3 holes on top....steering is better on trail and still floats great in the pow....what set up are you useing and is trail steering an issue????

Cheers
