To Start off im sorry, but have honestly spent about 2 1/2 hours looking for it. :o|
I would like to swap out my a arm bushings with Ulmer. I figure since i have it apart i should put grease fittings in. I saw a post a few weeks back on this, and now i cant find it again.
Does anyone know who posted it so that i can search that way?

cannondale27,

Thanks for the reply. the one i was remembering the guy had Blue a arms, and he welded i believe nuts to thread the Zerk fittings in. There were a couple things he did that i thought were real slick, and was hoping to copy that.

Either way, thanks alot for the help. it`s appreciated.

Welcome Totalrecall. Relax, no one is going to yell or make fun at your posts on this site. They take great pride in that. Ask anything you need, and chances are you'll get a prompt, easy to understand answer.
Mike.

Sorry I dont remember that.Nuts welded would be best but it works just to drill and tap holes.

Thanks all.
one more question,

Is Ulmer Racing usually hard to get in touch with? I sent an e-mail followed up with a voice mail this morning, and no replies. I ve also called back a few times, and there is no answer?

From what im seeing on the forum There are really only two people to go to for quality A arm bushing, that is Ulmer, and Pioneer, but the Ulmer ones seem to get better reviews.

I remember that post too. I am pretty sure it was late fall or early winter that it was posted. Just not sure under what caption or topic! There was also pictures of it, and he had 90 degree zerks in them.

Sometimes takes some time to get an email back i am sure he is a very busy man, but he WILL get back to you. He has always gotten back to me.

great thanks,

I wasn`t sure if they were on of the shops that shut down or have limited hours between seasons.

There are a couple of them around me.

Ya I know I emailed him 2 months ago with a question and still hasn't got back to me so I just bought another company clutch kit instead and they get back to me right away.

Ulmer called me back this morning. said he was getting my parts out this afternoon. He seemed like a real cool guy, just a really busy one.

Not that him calling me matters i just couldn`t see someone geting a bad wrap, that is not deserved
