Sparking under plug caps?.

Started my sled to find whats causing my excess fuel comsumption to find lots of sparking under the plug caps.Would this cause my engine to load up at low RPMs and burn more fuel?Any solutions?I cleaned the plug caps a month ago and put dielectric grease on them.

Cleaned them according to the advice on this forum,then tested them according to the YAMAHA SERVICE MANUAL,no failures.Reinstalled them on the sled and started her up,no more arcing(hope this solves my fuel problem).
