Got a SD 42 speed sensor code today. Checked speed sensor on case and it was off. Popped it back in for now and it is fine. What are you guys using to glue it in place. Silicon? Or something else?

Same stuff for the oil tank, Yamaha 6B or equivalent. Permatex Ultra Black is popular too

I used optimum grey by peramtex number 27036 , it has held very well. Still wondering why it came off in the first place. I got an extra 600 miles on that weekend(only rode 375). And a top speed of 261mph!!!!

Same here. Just popped off. Resilaconed and good to go. A Japanese built yamaha would have secured the sensor with something more hardy.
