My speedometer sensor fell off my chaincase this weekend. Is this a common problem, I have never heard anyone mention it on here before. I have a warranty but don't really want to take the sled in if I can easily fix it myself. If others have fixed themselves I am wonder what type of adhesive they have used. If others have just taken it in did they get a new chaincase cover or did the dealer just glue it back on?

Clean the case and sensor with some acetone and stick back on with any type of rtv silicone

Had it happen to me with my old viper.
Dealer replaced it under the Yes warranty and used some sort of RTV sealant. No cover replacement.
