Anyone try these yet? I have an Apex and they're comin out with them for next year but they've been out for the Nytro. So I was just looking for any reviews from the Nytro people.
I was hoping to finally fix the famous "Yama-push" in the turns.

No push, no darting, awesome handling, awesome ski. I have over 2,000 miles on mine this season, in all types of conditions. I love them.

I run them on my nytro, Have had them 2 seasons and there is no way I can go back to the old set up. They perform really well. Say good by to push, cause they really carve through a corner. Sounds corny but its true. You can place the front end of the sled wherever you want it and it sticks.
Another feature of these skis is that the worse the trail is, torn up, chewed up snow, the ski doesnt flinch. Still very stable and cuts through the snow and brings the front around on corners.
If you need more pm me.

just getting a 2010 nytro
I want to replace the skis to improve steering effort, and handling. I also like wider skis. Any one have success with any skis out there.

Has anyone tried them off trail? Just wondering how they do in the pow.
I don't have a set, but I have never seen a negative comment about them, maybe just the cost (around $1200 all in).....come to think maybe that's the reason.
I don't think too many people run them in deep powder (except maybe an occasional run)

The Split Rails skis are worth the investment. Your confidence and handling ability with the Nytro dramaticallly increase with these skis. The do rail the corners especially in loose snow conditions. Part of the investment is 2 new spindles and 4 carbides, but then some of this cost is offset by the fact you can sell your old spindles because you won't change back.
I now have 8,000 km on mine and they also work awesome in powder. We just got back from a trek to James Bay and that was 3 days of playing in powder.
This link is of one night last week at dust as we were playing and carving in some powder.
