I have a squeak coming from the front suspension I think? I pulled the bolts off the outside of the front A Arms and greased them up the bushing were in great shape! Inner A Arm bushings? Is this a big project to get to them and replace? Thanks All! No garage to work in and very cold outside etc.

Changing the A-Arm Bushings in not a large job. But, working in a warmed up area would help greatly. A squeak could be the bolt wearing into the bulkhead. You do not want to oblong the bulkhead bolt holes. This warrants an expedient inspection, if not bushing replacements.

Quite often you'll get squeaks coming from the "dog bone" linkages to the torsion bar. Squirt some good lubricant on them...like boe-shield. (NOT wd40).

You may want to use silicone spay, once you know you have not worn through a bushing. Silicone spray will not draw and retain dirt.

I've had squeaks coming from these "dog bone" linkages and a little spray of lube took care of it!

Mine speaks up there somewhere, only occasionally last year but it seems to be occuring a lot more this year. I cant pinpoint the squeaks. Taking the inside bolts out for me would be 2 maybe 3 days work because of a little accident with bare ice ending with a huge rock. Now the front end of my Rx is pretty much a solid chunk of metal all welded there by the nuts because that type of welding is a lot stronger than welding to the alluminum bulkhead which is what we did the first time and it never last me a week before the throttle side a arms were dangling off again.

Thanks Guys! I sprayed a little silicone spray and appears to have taken care of it! I will ride it and see this weekend! The bushings appear to be ok! Are they vissible from the outside of the sled? Nylon looking?

One needs to take out the bolts to tell if they are oblonged enough to start wearing into the bulkhead. Remember, ... If they wear into the bulkhead, the new bushing may not stay in place w/o some sort of repair.

I actually am going to replace mine also and noticed they were out of stock, in the mean time pioneer has them in stock, I ordered a set a few days back; or at least they did when I ordered them.

Not exactly sure but you can get there website right from the front page under the sponsors section.
