On the spindle end, I cross-drilled the sleeves that the bolts go through. Otherwise you wont get any grease to the bolts from the zirks.
When I dis-assembled mine, one of the bolts was frozen in place and had to be pressed out of the sleeve.

how do you know when the bushings require changing
just wondering, I have an 04 rx1 with almost 7500 kms on it, I have been spraying some lube on the bushings from time to time and dont see any wear or play. I checked it by tipping the sled on the side and checking for freeplay. The sled seems tight and no signs of wear. Should I just go ahead and replace them or wait another season, also still have the orginal sliders. I usually run the sled on well groomed trails that have plenty of snow. any help would be appreciated.

I put Ulmer's kit in my Apex and after about 5.800 miles the lower bulkhead bushing were shot. I have not pulled my a-arms off yet but the rest of the bushing don't show much movement. Maybe I will try lubing the bulkhead bushings this season.
Apltx08 when lubing the bushing are you doing it from the outside of the bulkhead?

I do it from both sides, the bottom rear ones are almost impossible to get at unless you take the air box off, most of the time I only spray from the outside after every long ride, I use that little extension tube that comes with, I've been very successful doing this, every fall when I take her appart for preventive maintenance you can see that their is a lot of lube in and around the bushings with vertualy no WEAR...I use my caliper to measure for wear and see if their still in spec and time after time everything is within
