ok where to start.

I have a 2016 xtx le with 7000km on it and its leaking badly from the left rear enginge mount, the weldings there has cracked. Not fun. I have Turbo on mine with 270+hk, I need to fill it with 0.5liters collant every 500km

Another friend of mine has a 2016 rtx stock machine doin the same but his is leaking 1.5liters every 50km.

And so the sidewinder is doin the same. now this summer we need to take all engines out and welding the machines.

This is really really bad. how many off you guys have a viper or sidewinder thats need to be filled with coolant after like 500km? mine is leaking a dripp every 8 seconds or so.

Mine are good. That was a issue in the Cats. Thought the huge mounts the Viper and Winder have would have fixed the issue. Does it look like a crack or just a faulty weld?

It looks like a faulty weld but it is hard to see. I gona take out the engine and weld it and reinforce the heat exchanger

My Viper had a coolant leak when it was new, but it was just hose clamps not tight from the factory. One of them was very hard to find under the engine by the cooler, but no bad welds.

There is a coolant fitting right at top center of exchanger. That one leaked on mine and ran right by the engine mount. Before you pull the engine make darn sure it's not something simple. I would even suggest testing with air and soapy water before taking that step.

This is a weak spot on the exchanger you can check if your sled still leaking coolant after thightened the clamps.

I paint the weld red
