Haven't been able to get a final answer so wondering if anyone has had this problem yet? I have a 2014 viper XTX with the fox float 2 rear suspension. I frequently have someone on back with me and it seems like the fox float compresses but doesn't come back up then bottoms out hitting bumps (has 1000 miles on it) so just wondering if anyone has replaced the rear shock with a fox zero pro or anything else? Any help is appreciated thanks!

Even when you jack up the air pressure?

Yup it's at 150 psi. Just wondering if coil over would hold more weight and would be decent solution.

I would guess its trashed by now but I have changed mine to Hygears linkage and run it at 200 psi and 250 in the extra chamber.

No but I am over #250 with gear and the XTX skid in stock form sucked for me and I could easily ride 2 on mine now.

What about your fox float itself though? Does the hygear upgrade help with the rebound of the float? When I get off my sled it seems to stay compressed while other friends get off and their suspension comes right back up.

Yes it come back up. You will need to send it in to be rebuilt. The air should act as the spring..and it its staying compressed it sounds like its shot and needs a rebuild.

Ok so you would recommend the hygear linkage kit with dual pressure?

Yes, it really transformed the sled into what it should have been from day one.

Alright so just go with that instead of zero pro? I just thought a coil would have more rebound?

I can only vouch for what I have done on the machine. If you like the ride in stock form, you can try the shock change to Zero Pro Coil over but I still feel the linkage change will give you a way better ride.
