Yes sir, that was me... thanks for your help in the recovery! The recovery driver went straight into Minocqua Yamaha after dropping off my sled and ordered a set of tracks for his ATV, sounds like he's had that issue before. This happen just outside St Germain Wi. ? The recovery 4 wheeler couldn't pull your sled up the hill so I hooked it to My Apex and got it to the top of the hill for them. You and the flat bed were waiting at the road. Your sled didn't seem to badly damaged, are you going to fix it?
Unfortunately the bulk head was bashed in pretty good on the front end and the tech was concerned about the integrity of the rivets on the tunnel. Knocked the display out of the dash and screwed up the steering column. Insurance totaled the unit without much conversation after the estimate came in. Tech told me it could be three years before they got all of the parts anyways with everything that is on backorder.

LTX LE would be my choice too for the reasons stated here. Also it's been said by a few that the one inch track just isn't enough. Most end up eventually changing it out. I thought that was a dumb idea when Yamaha did that myself. The QS3r shocks are the best of the bunch offered on these sleds. They really shine when the trails get rough, I have seen it first hand a few times considering my Winder didn't have them and my friend's did.

I strictly trail ride and run 24/50 on my tuned SW, super fun is a understatement on the trails lol, first year tuned with 21/41, last 4 years tuned with 24/50 and there’s a noticeable fun factor difference on the trails.I went for 1 trail ride this year and bent my driveshaft and my avid drivers. My sled is never seeing a trail again. Haha. I'm planning on buying another just for the trail.
Oh and I tried a winder with 24-50 gearing and it was super fun

Picked this up from Pat's a few weeks ago. Only 700 miles on it with another year of warranty left. Had them add another 48 studs and ordered some new Triple Downs from Snow Studs. Back in business!
Congrats! Wind it up and enjoy

I'm not to much in the knowledge with gearing. I ride trails. So 24/50 gearing does what for trails? Loss of top end? Better corner to corner? Thanks guys.

I guess it depends on how twisty your trails are.
I have tried 21/41, 22/41, and 24/50 on a 260hp tune. 24/50 felt too low for me. I did not have enough traction to support the lower gearing though.

I'm putting 192 in the middle 1450 mega bites. Should be good for traction. I hope.I guess it depends on how twisty your trails are.

Had 1.450 in a 2017 LTX LE and decided to try 1.575 in my 2024 LTX with angled doubles and sled has 1000 miles on it with no problems I like the longer studs and its very noticeable in certain conditions ( not All ) and the only negative so far is its doing a number on my rubber walk pads over my concrete in the garage… Because I sharpened the studs I can get away with less than 192 and hook pretty good with very little if any spinning. Got 128 in it right now and thinking of adding 16 more and going to 144 next season. Sled is clutched to work well with current stud pattern and number of studs… If I add studs I will change clutching to work well with new pattern and make good use of additional traction… Always working to improve traction which in turn gets more power to the ground.
