I know this is for Four Strokes only, but I have a problem trying to get my track replaced in my SRX. I have the driveshaft installed but the bearing on the clutch side will is not fully seated into the frame, it is sticking out by about 1/4". It looks like the driveshaft needs to move towards the chain case, the question I have does the driveshaft need to be flush with the lower gear in the chain case?

I am just wondering because I cannot get the bearing fully seated on the clutch side and cannot get the driveshaft to move any more.

Is there something that I am missing or what? Or does the bearing on the clutch side stick out by a 1/4"? To me it looks like it should be flush with the tunnel.

srx drive shaft

The bearing does stick out about a 1/4" on the clutch side, and the shaft doesn't come out flush with the sprocket in the chain case. It sounds like you have it correctly put together.

Thanks for the info, it looks like the track is centered in the tunnel. So I think I got everything in the right place.

Thanks again.
