Re: thanks
Seafoam would not hurt anything even with stabilized fuel. I would not use both though for storage just use the seafoam.

I also asked the same question when I wrote Sea Foam. Here is the response:
"Your question is can I mix them.
Yes you may, but our suggestion would be to transfer the fuel with your other product in it to another vehicle and consume it.
Start with fresh fuel, add a minimum 1 ounce Sea Foam per gallon of fuel (if you run straight gasoline, not a gas / oil mixture in the tank), RUN THE ENGINE for a significant time so the entire system is protected."
I also asked about any advanced damage to gas lines or gaskets and the resposne was:
"No more than what your fuel or your oil may do to degenerate an item.
Because Sea Foam is OIL, in most cases we help keep gaskets, o-rings, seals
and such lubricated and clean."

I have had fair to poor results with StaBil and have used it on and off for about 10 years in various pieces of equipment.
I have had carbs off my '04 Warrior 2x to clean them and BOTH times, they needed it!! I would have expected better protection from the StaBil but it could be affected by the fact my sled is in an enclosed trailer stored outdoors(?) - although I added nearly the recommended amount for "extended storage"
I have also had others say that gasoline in Canada has different additives than here in the US which may affect BOTH storage and stabilizers differently (?)
If you read the StaBil label it states that the product should be used WITHIN 2 YEARS OF PURCHASE. Believe it!! I always labeled the purchase date with a Sharpie after that came out. (I had some on a shelf in my garage and know it was older than that. Not much in the bottle but some gummy, thick red liquid.) BTW, that was only added to their label a few years ago.
I switched to Sea Foam about a year and a half ago. I prefer it to draining because I believe gaskets, etc. DO dry out and no matter how hard you try, you NEVER get all the gas out unless you take the bowls off and dry them by hand.
