stainless y pipes anyone broke one

has any one broke the stock yamaha replacement stainless y pipes

Yep, right at the weld were it goes into the main pipe to the muffler, broke right off, 06 Attack with 15000 K on it. Got it mig welded and reinforced and was good. Rivets in bracket were broke and gone had to replace with steel rivets.

Just trying to clarify.......an 06 oem is NOT S.S., but rather titanium. So you broke a replacement S.S. pipe that you had put on later?
an to the O.P. You are asking about the replacement S.S pipes from yamaha...correct?

Sounds to me he broke the exhaust pipe at the muffler which is stainless not the Y pipe.
