Just wanted to share that the lowering and revalve star does for the front suspension completey eliminates ski lift and really helps the sled rail the corners. LOW cog. Awesome upgrade!!! Now I just need oft and some new skis. Stockers are junk

Did you do the xtx kit , front and rear shocks, and the ski shocks with lowering? Any guess on how much the clearance under the skid plate changed?

A arms are sitting just above level. The front was just done. Want to do the back during off season. I believe it's around an inch lower.

I did my back this year and put split rails on, always looking to rail around a corner faster tho. I might get him to do mine as well, did you put a skid plate on?

You getting inside ski lift? No I need to put a skid plate on. Was there a big change with the rear kit?

Rear is much more plush and good transfer, I'm still setting up the suspension...not enough snow to get out and optimize it. Not really ski lift, a little push at the max that I want to get rid of, gonna reduce spring pressure on the centre shock a bit and I may move my sway bar mounts up. Want to rail like my older polaris's did.

Looks nice! Are those single keel ski's? A friend of mine has sno trackers on the stock single keel ski's and swears by them.

same result can be achieved with less spring pressure on front shocks (and is quickly reversible if required), the closer a-arms are to horizontal the better it will corner. lowering / shortening will not affect ground clearance when suspension compressed, it will only affect ride height. also any adverse affects caused by lowering the front can be overcome by simple compression adjustment on shock anyways. Robert at Star has some really quality products and service.

also the stock skis work amazing with a set of snowtrackers, will out corner anything out there I have tried

Lowering the front and rear suspension on my Nytro XTX helped the trail performance dramatically, but I increased front shock length and front suspension travel. How much front suspension travel do you loose with shorter front shocks? The stock length GYTRS at 17.5" length were constantly bottoming out in rough terrain or when going fast on downhill trails no matter how stiff I set them up.

I tried snowtrackers this year for the first time and they do exactly what they claim although I don't notice any reduced steering effort. They don't dart at all, no push either. I wish I had tried them earlier. I put them on MTX ski's that are also new this year.

carbide life depends on riding conditions, on 3rd set @ 18,ooo kms but lucky enough to ride in good conditions most of the time I have tried both and really no difference in turning.... the aggressive just require more effort to turn, also make sure you adjust toe out as per install instructions (set at 0 toe out).
