Starter Solenoid?

Does anyone have a picture of the starter solenoid on an Apex? I assumed I knew what it was, but ... I'm trying to wire a relay to power my nitrous system, and I've definitely got something wired incorrectly. Right now, my fuel solenoid is apparenly open without the engine even running. Possibly the nitrous too, but I've got the bottle valve shut off.

The instructions from the nitrous relay state to connect the RED wire to the starter solenoid and connect it to the same terminal as the positive battery cable.

A pic or detailed description of exactly where this is and what it looks like would help. Admittedly, I don't know jack about electrical wiring.

Ok, thanks. That is exactly where I ran it to. WTF? I obviously have something incorrect. What could I have done wrong that would be causing the system to activate immediately with the turn of the key?
