Starter Update

Most always just roll up and stop, on occasion it'll idle for 10-15 seconds, but haven't had the time to notice yet if there's a certain rhyme or reason when it does it.

Please note if it does this when you roll up and stop. Out of habit from the old days I almost always roll up and let it idle for 10 or 15 seconds before shut down, to cool internal engine parts.

If you have a turbo and you've been cooking it for a while I would let it idle for at least a minute before shutdown!

Believe it or not, with the turbo the engine temp runs 8-10 degrees cooler on mine than stock. Last year mine would run 167 degrees this year it runs 159, and intake air temps are cooler as well since I have the inner cooler on.

Let it idle to cool the turbo, not the sled. The turbo has a seperate oil supply and that oil cools the turbo bearings. The critical side is the exhaust side, letting the oil flow through and cool those bearings and surfaces is the reason for the one minute cool down!

Sorry I wasn't clear in my previous post.
