The bellcrank is the pivot the tie rods hook to and another tie rod hooks to the handle bars. A single bolt goes through it and holds it to the sub frame. The bellcrank its has needle bearings in it that should be checked and packed with grease.

I've experienced problems with the bolt 1975FA is describing. The grease from that joint seems to work it's way down onto the threads of the bolt and cause it to loosen. Every second season I add some grease to the pivot point and clean the bolt and some loctite and torque it back on. Since I've been doing that it has not come loose on me.
If you ride for a while with it loose it will oval out the spot where it mounts to the subframe.
