Another option is to buy/make a set of power steering plates like this from USI skis: http://www.usi-skis.com/index.php?page= ... &Itemid=85

I think the power steering plates are specific to USI skis.
I had USI's both on my Attak and Nytro. The USI's worked great on my Attak. Easy steering, good floataion, very little darting. When I put the USI's on the XTX. The USI's were totally the opposite as on my Attak. Very heavy steering, hunted left to right bad at speeds below 30 mph. The skis were ok at highg speeds and felt planted but took allot of effort to turn and react in the twistys.

Before I toe"d out my skis, my shoulders and neck would burn form the hard steering. After I toe'd out my skis, the burning in my neck and shoulders disapeared. My Nytro seems more in control with my skis toe'd out. Couldn't hurt to try it.

try 8" cobra heads and enjoy. I use these with the stock skiis and run one hand down the trail at 50 -60 mph. I'm never afraid of darting. Shims, in my opinion are not the correct answer. The rest is spring and shock adjustments. If I cannot get mine tuned just the way I like it than perhaps some one like Hygear's sport package or Team fast's new assault shock packages come my way. IMO the center shock on the xtx is a throw away for tuneability. I'll still play with the GTYR's for now.
