Dupont slide owners, something to watch out for

Run the stockers till they are gone then change. Its easy enough to do with suspension in. Doesnt make sense to waste good slides till gone.

I think that is what I am going to do?

I remove my skid every year for mtce anyways so if my OEM's are worn more next spring, then I'll try the Duponts.

Thanks ;)!

I'd like to try Dupont's but one poster here said they are trouble for us with clips every third window. OEM Attak track.. Maybe a seperate posting on these tracks and Dupont's expierence.

CaptCaper I've had them on my 07 gt since they came out and never had a problem yet, my track is clipped every 3rd, have about 3000 km on them, IMO biggest issue with slides is snow conditions...

Thanks.. I may try them not sure. I got 10000 miles on my last track and it was still good when I sold it. Had 162 1.325 studs as well in it the whole time. I guess one could always put in clips although that anit easy either from what I see.

I have around 4,500 miles on my duponts with little to no wear. I fully clipped my ripsaw, 4th wheel kit, 1.375 studboy power points, pioneer wheel mounts, newer spoke wheels and low snow wheel kit at the bend. ;)!

I know I was one of those that posted that I notice it wearing on the clips. I also had a track that was not fully clipped.
Last year, and back to a 15" x 1" x 121" Hacksaw that is fully clipped, I can say that my Dupont slides are still as thick as new...with only scratches on the slides and the dupont pieces. I do have one dupont piece that is missing a 1/4" long chunk.
I didn't take notice of the track clips on this one season old track....I will take a look and report back.

All in all, I am impressed with these sliders. I do a ton of lake riding.
